What Is Interfaith Dialogue?

Considering that there are various of religions and belief system all over the world, one might fail to agree to another; and then there’s interfaith. Interfaith, in simpler words, is an interaction between people of different religions, belief, or faith traditions. By interfaith dialogue, people with different faith communicate, and cooperate with one another in order to achieve respect and diversity with the hopes of better understanding of one’s religion. It’s beneficial not just to religious people, but also to those who’s not familiar, and those who wants to explore different religions.

Mission Statement

It hasn’t always been ordinary to consider different beliefs other than ones own. In our increasingly diverse nation, we are all usually members of one or another minority faith and even though our generations have evolved dramatically, religion is still a hindrance when it comes to building relationships with other people,  curtailing freedoms, and activities to a certain extent.

Genuine interfaith dialogue hinges on respecting the freedom of the participants to hold their respective beliefs. It is also a opportunity to gain knowledge and awareness in order to further understand  one’s belief without argument but with unity.
